I had the privilege of being approached my Waysun Johnny Tsai, who has designed numerous blades for TOPS Knives, to bring a vision of his to life.  He sent me a rough sketch of his design approximately one month ago for what has come to be called the “C.U.M.A. Monster Cleaver”.  He said he had seen my precious Cleaver designs and thought I would be able to make the prototype as he pictured it.

Today, 5/30/2017, I completed the build tominclude a custom sheath.  These will be available through custom orders by contacting Johnny himself, them I will be the contact for the build.

Removable OD/Coyote/Black G10 handle scales with red fiber liners

Acid Etched with dark tumble finish. 

Holstex reversible sheath with nylon reinforced snapping security and leather belt dangler.

Blade has been treated with Ren wax against corrosion because it’s a carbon steel.

We are going to be offering this model as a custom EXCLUSIVELY through Fureys Urban Combat Knives Unlimited. 

Waysun Johnny Tsai is currently shopping it to a couple of companies to make a factory production model as well.

If you purchase one of my knives, tomahawks, or tools in the secondary market, the warranty is fully transferable “with the original Certificate of Authenticity (COA).”  If the individual selling it does not have the COA, the buyer may contact me to discuss a replacement COA, as long as the item is still in “good to excellent” condition, to be verified by Furey’s Urban Combat Knives-Unlimited.  If the item is already damaged or in an unfavorable condition, without the COA, the warranty is null and void.

Within the last week, there has been a negative light placed upon online raffles for custom knives and other goods, due to the unscrupulous actions of some online groups, group administration, and leadership.  First, let me start by saying, the few raffles we at Furey’s Urban Combat Knives-Unlimited have held in the past have been legitimate, with no foul play.  I refuse to lay waste to my integrity, my reputation, and the trust I have built with my customer’s and the knife/EDC community.  Having said this, let me put forth this new policy.

As of today, May 2nd, 2017, Furey’s Urban Combat Knives-Unlimited will no longer hold or take place in any raffles, to include Good Cause Raffles (GCR) on our website, our LinkedIn, or our Facebook pages.  I will not allow even the slightest chance of my business to be called into question because of the seeds of mistrust planted by others.  We will also not make items to be used in such Raffles, as well, so as not to be connected to any chance of wrongdoing.  

We will, however, hold auctions for pieces, that may be of interest, such as one off items, due to the inability to use a rigged system, such as tampering with video or random number generators.  We will continued to make donation pieces that will generate funds for causes that are verified.

It bothers me that this policy even needs to be put in to place and that others have to suffer for the acts of a few.  Good Cause Raffles (GCR) are of enormous help to people during times of need and crisis, but they are impacted by the misdeeds of others.
