Blade Show…

Blade Show management has emailed us and advised they have moved the Show to August 7th – 9th, 2020, after they had sent us (and all exhibitors) this in an email a couple of weeks ago, and I quote,

“We sincerely thank all the exhibitors who participated in our survey regarding a possible date change. The response and feedback was overwhelming and we appreciate your input.
Upon further discussion with all our partners, we feel moving the date back three weeks will put more strain on exhibitors and attendees in regards to flight changes, hotel reservation changes, etc.
Please note, prior to sending out the date change scenario survey, we had already inquired about Show dates in later months, and the Cobb Galleria has nothing available.
Within the next couple of weeks, we will make a final decision on whether we host the show on its regularly scheduled dates or cancel completely.”

This is contrary to what they have now sent out and seems that they do not want to loose money; however, this will definitely impact the crowd that would usually attend, which means it impacts our income.

So, I regretfully and frustratingly inform everyone that Furey’s Urban Combat Knives-Unlimited will not be attending these new dates as it interferes with other engagements.

We will be there in 2021 as I am having Blade Show management transfer the exhibitors fees to reserve the 2021 show. I’m very sorry and hope everyone understands.

The stock I have been building for this show will eventually be put up for sale on the website. I will send out another announcement when this occurs.

Thank you, Denny

Happy Thanksgiving!

Have a Happy and Blessed Thanksgiving from our family to yours!

There are still commission spots remaining and a few items available for immediate sale.

Thank you,

Denny

The Show is Full!!!

Furey’s Urban Combat Knives-Unlimited will be exhibiting at the Lost Pines Knife Show. All vendor spots have been filled making for one hell of a show here in Texas!

Folder & Balisong Prototypes

***FYI***

I’ve been getting numerous questions on this topic.

The previous folders, both straight and Karambit, as well as the balisong prototype designs I had been working on have been scrapped and I am redesigning them from the ground up. I am working on tighter tolerances on the lock-up for the straight folder, a different locking mechanism and blade design on the Karambit, and a smoother action on the balisong.

I will not be releasing any postings of these for sale. I am planning on having the first iterations released and available at Blade Show 2020, and no sooner. There will be no reserve on the ones going to the show. After that, I will be making them as I can with current order loads. They will not be open for custom commissioned requests as they are far too time consuming (each made by hand with no CNC).

I do not have an MSRP as of yet, as I am still plotting out materials for the first few made.

This process has been hindered with my back injury and surgery, so I am running behind on my original estimated time of completion.

HAPPY EASTER!

From all of us here at Furey’s Urban Combat Knives-Unlimited, we would like to wish you and yours a Happy and Blessed Easter!

Custom Order Books Announcement

Ladies and Gents,

On Tuesday, April 23rd, 2019 at 8:00am CST, I will be opening the books for a limited number of custom builds (approximately 5-10 customers).

As I am easing back into the shop and still recovering from spine surgery, I can not over burden myself with my normal order load until I am 100%.

Please do not attempt to make an order until the date/time posted. Please use the contact form or email to send your interest.

I appreciate all of you and your patience.

Thank you,

Denny
