Completed for the Texas Custom Knife Show in November:

-A Custom Modern Tanto dubbed “Oni” (Demon). The blade is satin finished 1/4” 1095 carbon steel, with a deep hollow grind on the main bevel and flats on the other two, with the mirrored edge seamlessly flowing from ricasso to tip, as well as fillers.

The habaki, tsuba, and pommel are all satin finished 304 stainless steel. The habaki has a Samurai Oni Mask engraved on both sides. The handle is tapered black canvas micarta, with domed stainless steel accent pins. The handle is bedded in epoxy, and the tang nut that screws onto the threaded tang is hidden my a decorative stainless steel screw.

13.5” OAL, 7.25” blade. This will be getting a themed custom leather sheath.
